MISSION FIRST - Focus on Professional Excellence
A core element of the Licensed Clinical Counselors of North Carolina (LCCNC) mission is to promotes the development of LCMHCs through professional excellence and advocacy.
Mission is accomplished in the following ways:
- Professional continuing education events,
- Member town hall meetings,
- Home study training opportunities,
- Advocacy days,
- Professional networking,
- E-news & our monthly newsletter "The Counselor's Voice",
- Blogs and our website and more...
Active membership benefits provides access to many training opportunities, such as First Friday Webinars, monthly webinars with free CEs for members. (*Members must attend the live webinar for the free CE). Members may also earn CEs through LCCNC's regional meetings, home study library, and micro-conferences.
LCCNC provides Continuing Education (CE) in two (2) formats:
- LIVE - via Webinars and In-Person Trainings
- HOME STUDY - via our website
All trainings are vetted and approved by LCCNC's Professional Development Committee using LCCNC Presenter Standards. Our LCCNC Presenter Standards comply strictly with current NBCC Continuing Education Provider Policy.
LCCNC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5807. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. LCCNC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
